Twilight Movie Review

Twilight Movie Banner
My sister and I went to the movies to see Twilight on Thanksgiving evening. I had low expectations because, well, we all know how movies are never anything like the book. I have to admit I was totally wrong! This movie was exactly all that a reader of the book series could hope for. It took what I saw in my mind and put it on the big screen. It is no exaggeration when I say that I haven’t seen a book-turned-movie follow the story so well since Lord of the Rings. My compliments to the director. If you’ve read Twlight by Stephanie Meyer, definately go see this movie.

Jess,
I totally agree with your critique of Twilight. I read the book, and when I was finished, all I could say to describe it was “It’s Okay…It’s Good…It’s Okay…” and I couldn’t stop saying “It’s Good…It’s Okay…” five thousand consecutive times because it was in fact good, but just okay too. But then I saw the movie, and everything in the movie was exactly how I pictured it when I was reading the book. And Edward’s shimmering skin was not nearly as corny as I expected. Three words describe how I feel about Twilight after watching the movie…I loved it.

seems likely that they will come out with a Twilight sequel pretty soon, there’s a crazy lot of ticket sales at stake

They are doing a new movie. I was reading in Entertainment magazine that they were thinking about whether the one kid was going to be able to play a warewolf convincingly enough.
