		<description>Oh.  And if you think that is fun, try doing it while diving.  If you are lucky enough to equalize on the way down (which is just about the same as landing in a plane), wait until you have to resurface and thepressure goes the other way - like overfilling a balloon.  Hence, the "bends".</description>

Your sinus cavity is congested and blocks the change in air pressure.  so when the plane comes down and reaches normal pressure, your skull is basically a balloon being squeezed.  And what happen when the ballon is squeezed too hard?  It pops!  Try chewing gum next time, it helps move the congestion around and lets the sinus cavity equalize.</description>
